Rest In Power Nick Ashford
Nick Ashford, of musical super-couple Ashford & Simpson, joined the ranks of our artistic ancestors today at age 70. In addition to creating for their own successful duo career, the two have a laundry list of credits, including penning hits within the Motown Machine and owning the Sugar Bowl in NYC.
Ironically, he spent much of his life with his wife as a powerhouse duo, singing and making music, and met his last breaths as a result of throat cancer.
